Yes!

There have been so many changes in the last few weeks.  Nathan is officially on schedule at the University of Illinois ( and loving it) I have officially enrolled and will be going back ( for hopefully the last time) to school starting in 3 weeks.  We have got the plans rolling on the remodel of the house. Lastly, but most importantly, we are engaged!  The getting engaged part maybe wasn't such a surprise as we have been talking about getting married for quite a while, but the actual proposal was all his doings, and he did it perfectly.

Last evening I had just gotten home from work and Nathan says lets go for a hike!  I was tired and slightly curious/suspicious because it had been raining all day and was a little wet and cold, but I still said Sure, I thought maybe he had something up his sleeve. After we arrived he steered me towards "our " gazebo where a little over a year and a half ago we had our first date  (this date is not counting our numerous trips to McDonalds when we were 17!).  Then I knew something was up!  We sat and chatted for a bit inside the gazebo, and then to my surprise he got down on one knee and proposed!  It was perfect!  I am so excited to start this new chapter in our lives and cannot wait to see where this road will lead.
